Calgary has over 800,000 people and is the sixth largest city in
Canada, the largest between Vancouver and Toronto.
Calgary has grown about 150,000 people since the 1988
Winter Olympic Games. Calgary also happens to be Canada's
second-biggest head office city, second only to Toronto.
Alberta is the most westerly of Canada´s three prairie
provinces, and joined Canada as a province in 1905. Alberta
