When we purchased the home from the estate of the original owner we were told that the single elderly lady built the house with very specific instructions. Thus the washer was originally in the main bathroom (we have since moved the washer to the basement and purchased a dryer) The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. There was lino through out the house except for the living room which had hardwood flooring. We have recently installed new flooring on the main floor and kept the original hardwood. The bedroom in the basement was for her use in the hot summer months and thus has ensuite. Yard is very low maintenance.
